    I worked at Accenture full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    - Great learning environment
    - 12 extra vacation days

    Cons

    - One of the worst work-life balance companies;
    - 10+ hours/day average working day;
    - Not enough compensation for the hours given;
    - Lousy paycheck and few benefits for a big company with so many profits
    - High churn/volatility of the most capable people and ambitious people
    - Fast growing career opportunities are a mirage

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    - Inflexible working environments concerning career growth and salary/benefits improvement generate unsatisfied people and a sense of not belonging;
    - Common "management just don't care feeling" among the employees;
    - No one wants to work in a company that doesn't commit and cherish their employees;
    - Ambitious, quality people leave quickly, demotivating the other quality employees that stay.

    Former Employee - Senior Programmer in Lisbon (Portugal)

    I worked at Accenture full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

    It is one of the biggest companies in IT so you always work in large projects with important clients. It's a good school for recently graduates that are not used to work for long hours. The best is definitlely the work environment in the projects due the majority of people being of relatively young age.

    Cons

    The management in the projects is awful, the projects are always done with much less people than they should have, just to save money. They make their subordinates work after hours practically every day and many times don't show respect for life outside the work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Don't explore your workers until they are burned out, because they will all leave the company and no knowledge will be accumulated in the company.
