Benefits, People you work with, prestige associated with the name
Cons
Occasionally work/life balance is poor, Senior management occasional forgets that "our people are our greatest asset", loyalty to the employee has suffered over the years
Advice to Senior Management
Cutting to save costs is fineand is part of business, but dont tell employees they are so important then let them go or chase them out. There are plenty of places to save oney besides employees.
