    Positive Outlook

I worked at Accenture full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Tightly run and efficient business that delivers consistently high quality services.

    Cons

Large, hierarchical business that struggles to live up to its commitment to support the employee's career objectives.

    Advice to Management

Employees will reciprocate when the organization exhibits loyalty to them. High turnover is a clear indication that Accenture's commitment to its employees is not 'as advertised' by management.

    Pros

Good salary and benefits. Work from home while on the bench.

    Cons

I was hired as a Senior Business Analyst February 2015. They had no projects whatsoever. They kept me on the bench and searching for roles. Out of nowhere, I get an phone call saying they are terminating my employment. No warning or anything. I ask why? They say it's because they have no demand. So now I quit my stable job and now have no job. Offered severance pay of 1 week.

    Advice to Management

Invest in your employees. Retrain if necessary. Do t just fire them.

I have been working at Accenture (More than a year)

    Pros

    * Travel benefits (airline miles, hotel points) * Fun work culture * Ability to move around in career and expand skill sets

    Cons

    * Competitive environment * The company usually throws people into projects just to fill them and not necessarily because you are a good fit * All projects will never be what is advertised (for example, a technical/IT role being categorized as an analytics role) * Unrealistic project deadlines set by the client

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees career goals and maybe you can have more employee retention
