Pros
Work with very intelligent, talented, and motivated people
Many opportunities to expand skills and learn
Truly a global company - you work with people from all over
Excellent training and methodologies
Very ethical company
Accenture Development Partnership - allows you to use your skills to work for non-profits and charitable organizations while still getting paid.
Cons
Work - Life balance can be quite hard to achieve. There are a lot of programs that support this balance, but actually getting them to work with the Consulting career can be a challenge. Seattle is better than many other US offices in this area.
Raises between promotion years are low
Pros
Exciting and interesting work that allows for creative problem solving with uppper level management of Fortune 500 companies. Excellent staffing opportunities exist for those interested in working on projects outside of their core strengths / specialty. Early promotion opportunities for motivated high performers.
Cons
Travel Monday thru Thursday. Poor work life balance.
Pros

Cons
Salaries could be higher and more comparable to clients and competitors
Pros
Flexibility, some great projects, bog company support structure
Cons
Management disconnect, personnel process breakdowns
Advice to Senior Management
360 feedbacks for everyone

Sr. Executives are very supportive in general
Easy access to the global next work of Accenture
Opportunities to work for high visibility projects

A good manager makes a huge different to your project
Stack ranking process somewhat fair but not totally
Advice to Senior Management
During stacking ranking, only the higher level can rate the lower level. The review process has room to enhance for fairness.
Pros
Work life balance
Global environment
Challanging projects
Cons
employees not accesses correctly.
Growth is moslty based on good luck than performance.
Advice to Senior Management
define clear goals for employees and provide honest feedback instead of fairytales.
Pros
Some people have crazy hours, but I've had it pretty easy. My job is 8-4, I make good money, and I'm home at a decent hour.
Cons
If you land in a staff aug role it can be pretty boring. Still though, not horrible at all. I recommend it.
Advice to Senior Management
I think they're doing just fine. Some sites could use more senior staff representation, kind of keep the "kool aid" flowing.
Pros
It provides for great opportunity to get extremely relevant and useful work experience. Tons of exposure to major companies and industries.
Cons
Similar to working in any large company, the ability for creative freedom does not always seem present and sometimes restrictive.
Advice to Senior Management
More one on one time with those below, building skills through critical thinking and providing motivation outside of compensation will increase job satisfaction.
Pros
Nice to be part of the company
Cons
Improve team communication regarding appraisals.
Advice to Senior Management
Nothing
Pros
Great place to learn new skills and gain experiences.
Cons
Compensation is below market averages, people are currently burned out, travel opportunities are limited.
Advice to Senior Management
Reinvest in your existing workforce rather than bringing in new talent.
