Pros
Work is challenging and the clients we deal with are large corporations or government. Colleagues are largely smart and dedicated people.
Cons
Limited work/life balance, dependent on project. Skills developed may not be portable and marketable for your next job elsewhere. It's really a systems integrator, rather than a consulting firm.
Advice to Senior Management
Provide tangible and practical compensation to the folks on the ground, for they are the ones actually delivering the high performance that you have been selling, rather than patronizing them with words of praise. Above and beyond awards of $80 Robinsons voucher is a joke for these people who have put in long hours over extended periods of time.
Pros
People are smart, young and nice. Accenture has a good brand name. They held a lot of events for employees to connect to each other.
Cons
Working overtime is very common everyday, sometimes six days a week. It all depends on the project you work on. Life as a developer is very stressful and there is actually no life working in thsi company.
Advice to Senior Management
Hard work doesn't always pay. The important thing is to design the project well at the starting phase. Treat programmers better.
