Pros
Competitive Pay, Great Location, Timely Pay, Small Company, Headquarters in Atlanta, GA, other locations in Orange, California and Tampa, Florida
Cons
Little to no advancement opportunities, later work hours, Costly health insurance, small and private company, no training, no continuing education
Advice to Senior Management
Invest in training yourselves and employees, Take time to think decision through, Proper Planning Prevents Poor Performance, Start recognizing post graduate degrees
Pros
Good people, great location, growing company with a strong senior leadership team who has a solid vision for the next few years.
Cons
Because the company is still growing, it seems that we are still learning how to manage to the scale that we are.
Advice to Senior Management
Improve benefits structure, install pay bands, recognize and promote from the talent within the company, and improve communications between departments.
Pros
- Good PTO
- Free breakfast every first Thursday of the month and free cupcakes every 3rd Thursday of the month.
-Decent salary for those working right out of college.
Cons
Absolutely no bonuses for annual and work base. The only bonus you get is referring someone to the company if they are hired. Upper management is really poor within the company, they use the method of intimidation toward employees to get work done. MANY people either left, planning on leaving, or let go in different departments in the company. There is a annual Christmas party during work hours, but instead of taking the whole day off you only go for 3 hours and then head back to work.
Advice to Senior Management
There needs to be a better communication from the upper management to the employees.
Pros
Small to midsize company makes you highly visible to upper level management. Presented multiple opportunities to grow in my field. Access offers tuition, and certification reimbursement. Good performers are recognized and compensated fairly. My supervisor trusts in my ability and allows me to get my job done. I can't imagine working anywhere else. 401K employer match is a huge plus!
Cons
Medical Benefits are not great, however compensation makes up for that.
Advice to Senior Management
Keep doing what you are doing.
Pros
Friendly environment, excellent employee referral program, 401(k) match, huge potential for growth and career advancement, fair compensation
Cons
Layout of Atlanta office makes it somewhat difficult to get to know employees in other departments, but they have events at least once a month where employees interact with each other
Advice to Senior Management
Would like to receive more updates on the company's status, employee recognition, etc.
Pros
* Merit-based rewards, easy to get noticed for being good
* Strong belief in work-life balance
* Unlimited learning opportunity
* Never boring, always getting better
* Learning from really successful, smart owners and caring senior managers
* Excellent PTO allowance, very competitive cash pay, great facilities in both Atlanta and Orange County, CA offices
Cons
Still small enough to not be able to afford best-in-class benefits yet, but it's made up for in salary
Pros
Great compensation package and training
Cons
The shift is a late shift and you often dont finish your work as scheduled
Advice to Senior Management
Consider having empolyee PTO purchase
Pros
Good pay and excellent co-workers
Cons
Health Insurance is very expensive for families.
Advice to Senior Management
Find a way to lower health insurance and improve the benefits package to be more competitive with comparable jobs.
Pros
Access provides a challenging work opportunity with current technology which you can make your own. They do not hold back the latest and greatest or the expense to give you what you need to accomplish your tasks. If you want to punch a clock, update tables, and be satisfied with what you already know in hopes that you can get by or have a place to hide, this isn't the place for you. Only the best and brightest need apply, because my peers and I are growing, solving technology demands, implementing cutting edge architectures, and enabling the business to grow. Just check the numbers, they don't lie.
Cons
Some are not in it to win it. Some want to continue to celebrate past successes instead of creating new ones. While you are busy patting yourself on the back for last year, who is coding the next measure of greatest? Who is defining the next profitable program? Who is leading the next team to success? That's right, someone else.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue to hire the brightest and best. It may make some feel uncomfortable, but it's up to each individual to then either raise themselves up or choose to be complacent. Don't forget to pat someone on the back even if it's just to keep their hands on the phone or keyboard.
Pros
Prime location
Above average amenities
Decent paid tme off policy
Pleasant, knowledgeable front line talent
Fair salary compared with industry
Emphasis on customer facing technology
Cons
This company is poised for growth and to position itself as an key player in the non-standard auto insurance industry. However, the lack of clear, definitive goals coupled with the incompetence and arrogance of the senior leadership team has created a siloed environment that frowns on collaboration and resource pooling. I joined the organization thinking that I could utilize my talent and experience to make a positive impact, but quickly saw that was not an option here. Please do more homework than I did before deciding to join this organization. If you know someone on the inside, talk to them and LISTEN CAREFULLY to what they say,
Advice to Senior Management
The company is entirely too top heavy and there needs to be some serious cuts at the executive level. The executive level does not really know where they want to take the company, and that is evident in the lack of specific, measureable goals that are set for the organization. The leadership needs to seriously invest in communication - no one talks to each other and no one works together. Organization and planning would do the executive level leadership some good as it appears that they just fly by the seats of their pants. I have personally never seen anything so dysfunctional during my tenure in the industry.
