    Pros

Good benefit package to attract potential employees.

    Cons

    Work you like an animal.

    Advice to Management

No realistic goals set up for employees. Supervisors do not care how you get your work done. I have never seen or gone through a company like this one. Sounds like a good company to work for but that is not true. It is tough when we find out afterwards. Supervisors are very rude and inconsiderate.

    Pros

I like working here for the benefits, great coworkers, flex schedule.

    Cons

The biggest challenge is the half Union, half NBU environment. There's almost a silo approach here now that was never here before. There's also a glass ceiling to wear you can go in the company. Definitely not the company that it once was.

    Advice to Management

If you're going to pay your internal employee's to go to school or to work for you, give them a chance to actually grow with the company. You've lost many employee's because of people simply hiring their friends and not promoting within.

    Pros

Most of the people are nice and great to get along with.

    Cons

As with all "well-oiled" machines, this corporation is that and nothing more. Employees are treated as just another cog in the system and worked far beyond what they're worth.

    Advice to Management

Hire managers who want to lead, not delegate; they also need to do a better job of developing their employees. HR needs to do a better job with the way they treat employees, rather than adhering to a policy that strips them of their dignity.

    Pros

Good wages and benefits established company

    Cons

Nepotism at it's finest union support employees that are not good at their jobs and simply have them due to seniority, often earning more money than non bargining staff

    Advice to Management

Take a look at your lifers in management

    Pros

Really good intern program, lots of access to everyone all over the company. Good face time with CEO and other execs. Good healthy culture and great office downtown. (I worked at the old building and that was nice, but the new building is phenomenal).

    Cons

Not a lot to do in terms of work. Can get bored very easily, mostly busy work.
