Pros
it is great if you want to travel and develop your intercultural skills. Moreover, its global reach make it an excellent place to start your career and advance to new positions.
Cons
There is no real integration among the staff and workers seldom have the necessary independence to accomplish great things.
Advice to Senior Management
The leadership at ACCOR should try to empower their employees much more than they presently do in order to achieve better results with more creative solutions.
Pros
Executives are accessible and information is relatively easy to get
Cons
Most of the opportunities lie in hotel operations
Advice to Senior Management

For me it is a really interesting place to work, i mean at the Headquarters.
There is mainly young people or even senior are not that old, most of them are really open minded.
I've there for 7 months druing my MBA, i was considered as a real junior, coz my boss was introducing me as i was. And they make be one of the team, leading meeting...
Accor HQ is definitely a good place to work
Cons
Some of senior management are not easy and wont give a chance to junior.
Advice to Senior Management
Be more open, listen to Junior, make them confident with you and they will follow objectives more than ever.
Pros
Great career opportunities for those who are mobile in a rapidly expanding company with vibrant people and energised leadership - especially Asia Pacific. A great company if you enjoy rapid change, being part of a team and developing teams.
Cons
Hours can be long and eat into family time but at the same time there is flexabilty if your organised and proactive. Your ability to network and get results is important in career progression.
Advice to Senior Management
Stay focussed and look after your people, even in tough times it is your people who will propel you to a successful future.
Take a slightly longer term view of the business, it is not all about the last month and the next month, good results are built on solid foundations and sustainable business practices, we need to be careful the amount of movement and the naturally transient nature of our business does not create short sightedness in achieving profit.
