    Pros

Accor was great with work life and balance, training, growth opportunity, office culture before they decided to sell. As I loved working for Accor before they decided to sell.

    Cons

I loved working for Accor North America before they decided to sell, Olivier left the company and he was one awesome.New leaders came in and decided to sell US so Executive Management changed and company downsized. Now the new name is G6 Hospitality

    Advice to Management

Accor sold to investment firm in North America now its G6 so I don't have any advice. Current management I cannot give advise to.

I worked at AccorHotels full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

They value work/life balance in certain departments.

    Cons

They dont pay well and management only looks out for themselves. They do not encourage promotion from within. There is also a favoritism aura going on around the company. It's pretty much who you know adn not what you know!

    Advice to Management

Need to change old school mentality- need fresh new ideas- need to clean house ASAP!

I worked at AccorHotels full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are no pros to this position.

    Cons

Every thing about this position was misleading.

    Advice to Management

To start a review process for all management and executive staff before allowing a termination of a subordinate to make sure there is not an ulterior reason for them terminating a direct report.

    I worked at AccorHotels full-time

    Pros

    Discounted Rooms but nothing more.

    Cons

No employee benefits, lack of commitment to the staff and pay is worse than working at a fast food establishment.

    Advice to Management

Protect your investment in your staff. Show genuine value by realizing their well-being depends on you as an employer. When sick or injured on the job it should not be all about the all mighty dollor, but your staff as part of your family. Your motto is "come...bring your family and meet mine". Thus, set an example by standing by your employees the same way as you would a close family member.

    Pros

lunch provided daily, health benefits, decent co-workers

    Cons

pay, management is not supportive, harsh and unmerited criticisms, inappropriate relationships and advances by management towards employees, AWFUL hours, no schedule flexibility, etc.

    Advice to Management

Employees need a life. The more supported employees feel, the better of a job they will do. The worse you treat them, the worse the will do.
