Great available online training. Basic healthcare & other benefits at a moderate cost. Push your recruiter for opportunities and you will be working asap. You can enhance your job skills while getting that weekly paycheck. Much better than hoping someone will call for an interview in this economy.
You are a temp, so if you don't like your assignment- call for another one.
Cons
You work at much less than permanent employees. Remember companies need ~40% margin to cover all overhead costs.
Depends on your recruiter- a good one will try to match you & the company, not simply hang you out for hire. If yours does not listen to you- forget about them and go find another recruiter or another temp agency.
Advice to Senior Management
We realize you need to make a living and want to please the client, but listen to your employee. Additionally, negotiating a better wage for your employee will earn both of you more money and still make you competitive as you attract a higher quality personnel.

If you want to earn some money, they may find you a temporary job with salary such as $13 per hour on condition that you follow up tightly.

Firstly, They told you it's gonna be a temporary to perm position, but it never will be, according to my own experience and my co-workers.
Secondly, No benefits, no insurance, no contract. They misrepresent about the contract. They will let you believe that it is a 3-month contract or something. However, I will always turn out that there is no contract at all, and all they give you is an assignment. No promise on how long it's gonna be. They can fire you anytime without any solid reason. I have seen my co-worker fired ONE BY ONE. Their scheme is that they won't keep you long since the law requires that if you hire somebody for 90days you have to give them full benefits, which is something Accountemps will never do. So they keep firing people for almost no reason. They don't even give ANY NOTICE. But is you want to quit the job, you would have to give them 2 weeks notice. or they will be mad at you. It is so unfair.
Thirdly, they made mistake on my tax deduction. It took me some time and energy to let them know that they made a mistake. Finally and luckily, they refund me.
In addition, they don't treat you with respect during the assignments. Your will only have your break time as they arrange. I worked for the 2nd shift, i heard thay the first shift is a little better.
Finally, they use you as their dog. If they find you an assignment, they need you to do anything anytime as they requested. Last time, I only delayed one day for signing my background check forms because I have an important meeting that day. Then they got mad. Yes they have some temporary jobs, so what? They are not my parents or the god who can made me do anything anytime. I wish they could know more about respect and basic manners. But they will pretend to be very nice and warm they first them you meet with them or interview with them. BE CAREFUL!

During the interview i was told my business degree was nothing to brag about since apparently everyone has a degree nowadays. I was told I don't have relevant job experience so don't expect too much pay. I asked over and over again and she was unclear when the position would last to or if it was a temp to hire position. My headhunter takes a grossly unfair portion of my pay. Maybe I had the unfortunate luck of working under the witchiest recruiter but I would not recommend them to anyone.

Teller your recruiters to treat employees with some respect.

The assignments provided offered challege to my abilities which helped to build my confidence and allowed me growth in my field.
Cons
The areas I felt I needed to build my strengths in I personally didn't take advatange of the opportunities provided by Account Temps to develop my skills.
Advice to Senior Management
Don't pressure employees to where they don't want willing approach for when they want and need mentoring if your are willing to offer this type of support.

They Seem to be a professional firm. Staff are nice and give you details about what they need from you.

Prepare for tests, after tests you hear nothing from them. Have to give them SS number even before your interview.

Don't ask fro people's social security number untl you actually find them a job. Shouls offer some suggestions about your resume.

Once you are onsite the care and interest in the employees well-being or satisfaction disappears, they only want to keep the client happy

Value your skilled employees and reward them for going the extra mile. Don't hide behind corporate policy and pretend you care more about your employees than you do.

One of the best reason to work at Accountemps is they can help you find a temp. job the next day.

One of the down downsides of working at Accountemps is they only pay around $10/ hr which is not dencet wage at all.

Management team at accountemps is unorganized. They asked my friend to interview the samw job for twice under the same company.
