I worked at Accountemps full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Even though you barely see or hear from the people that interviewed you. They place you in a really great work environment. If you don't like it then they will find another.

    Cons

They cannot guarantee a full time position. They will tell you, what they were told, but the final decision is not there's.

I worked at Accountemps full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

I learned many new things while consulting as an accountant. My recruiters were wonderful, communicative and listened to what I had to say every time.

    Cons

If you don't interview well, or don't like having a fast paced, dynamic work environment, then consulting isn't for you. I averaged 4 months per project and had to start working from day 1. There was rarely time for formal training, which was the nature of my position. I loved it, many may not.

I have been working at Accountemps as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

They found me a job quickly, the pay was decent and I had all the skills they required. I get paid weekly. They do have benefits. Once you do a temp job for them you have a better chance at a temp to hire position when they come up.

    Cons

It is a temp job with no chance of being permanent.

I worked at Accountemps as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Very good placement with Pacific Bell Analytical Section. Worked 60 to 70 hours a week for three months combining Accounts Payable equipment purchases for merging firms. Used Excel and Aces to form final results that we presented to the Board of Directors od Southern Bell. To maintain the hours needed Pacific Bell provided evening meals catered to reduce hours at installation.

    Cons

On assignments the regular employees are not very polite due to the merging of the firms may mean the loss of their jobs.
