    Horrible Company, Horrible Experience

    ProsAbility to work both remote and in the clients office locations. Minimal travel.

    ConsNo support from management, for weeks you are ignored and then if an issue arises you are at fault.

    Advice to Senior ManagementSupport your employees. We make you money.

    Advice to Senior ManagementImplement annual review/compensation process to provide employees with feedback and salary increases/bonuses in line with their performance and contributions. Make employees in the field feel just as important and a part of the company as those in the office. Bolster the referral programs.

    Not the best place to work

    ProsAt first it looks like a great place, but once you are in its not really accounting but a unconventional system.

    Consno support from senior consultants, managers, very little systems training.

    Don't care about employees

    Prosthere are no pros for working at Accretive Solutions.

    ConsTop heavy. Overpaid senior people. Let people go to solve issues. Can't be trusted - go back on their word. Referral program is a joke. Don't tell you anything. Bonuses decided randomly. No career development. No respect. Give your opinion and you could be fired. Treat employees like children. Salary is minimal.

    great learning experience

    ProsLearned faster than in any other job experience due to opportunity and training provided. Made valuable contacts for life both at clients and with other A/S consultants.Felt like member of team of like minded experts.Better than normal work/life balance as client normaally does not want to pay for huge amoutns of overtime.

    ConsIf (or when) the client demand disappears, so does the employment. Major RIFs in 2009 downturn. Thus have same downside risk as any other silicon valley career, without the upside of stock options,, etc.

    Advice to Senior ManagementContinue the good work with training and networking oppportiunities.
