    Pros

Great group of employees who go above and beyond in helping every customer and their coworkers inspite of upper management.

    Cons

Refusal to listen to their employees, no breaks, irrational scheduling and store coverage, dishonest practices from upper management, failure to respond to phone calls from their employees, harassment to "sell" cards to customers who can't afford the hidden fees associated with the card.

    Advice to Management

Give District Managers the same training you give store Managers and Associates so they see from experience what their employees go through. Stop expecting one person to do the work of multiple people. Protect your employees by hiring security to be visible when they walk into stores in the morning and walk out of the stores at night. Have sense enough to get off the phone conference during a robbery.

  2. Probably one of the worst jobs I have ever had. Not allowed to take rest/meal breaks when working 10-12 hour shifts, co

    Pros

If you like working by yourself & being so busy that before you know it....it's time to go home this maybe the place for you.

Loved the majority of my customers, they were a pleasure to work for.

    Cons

Make sure that if any exceptions to any of there policies/procedures is directed that you get it in writing no matter what, cause if you dont, it will come back to bite you on the day they terminate your employment over it.

No rest/meal breaks when you are working 10-12 hour shifts all by yourself, 3 out of 4 days a week. The company claims hardship & lack of staffing to Labor & Industries to get away with it, but they intentially single staff the stores 98% of the time. You are always on call, especially the CM's

    Advice to Management

Management at the district & regional levels for sure have unrealistic expectations that are not obtainable! CSR's & CM's just check stuff off to say its done (when really its not done) in order to meet last minute & always changing deadlines.

You have District Managers in place that are unethical!

They still hire persons after they fail your mouth swab drug tests, you may want to think about using an independent lab for your drug testing in the future.

They have also re-hired former employees even after they had fraudulantly obtained payday loans for themselves by falsifying there identities as one of there own friends & or family members.

    Pros

Very layback place and nice customers , some employees where nice but at the same time very hypocrites

    Cons

Bad management, everything is unorganized, you have to multi task all the time and it gets hard when your by yourself it gets packed, it would be better if they had atleast 2 employees to help out, I had a few customers tell me why am I always by myself that is bad customer service, the managers always talk bad about each others back and about their employees but then in person they act like nothing happened, they don't let you choose your days off of course have to tell them 2 to 3 weeks ahead and little pay for so much to be handling.

    Advice to Management

    Very unorganized

    Pros

some of the people are pretty cool to work with.

    Cons

Full time at ACE actually means a maximum of 37 hours a week (maybe less) . Poor upper management, low pay for everything they want done, constantly getting yelled at by angry customers because youre not allowed to give them too much information(totally ridiculous).

    Advice to Management

Maybe more people would stay and things would run a little better if employees were promoted based on qualifications and not just because you're friends.

    Pros

benefits: 401k, insurance, and it stops there

    Cons

everything but the pros. management has changed within the last 2 years
the company as a whole is declining tremendously, constantly firing at the end of the fiscal year. no room for advancement if you work in collections, yearly raises are next to nothing, bonuses has declined, temps doesn't get a bonus, takes them over 6months to get hired on permanently. ever since ace was sued for 10 million for unfair, abusive, deceptive practices, morale has went down. run for the hills if you are called by ace for a job opportunity

    Advice to Management

fire all of management, and hire new ones. needs to be more employee driven. happy employees equals happy customers
