I have been working at Achieve3000 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The company cares about their employees and invests in their growth. The product is amazing and the people who work here are very passionate about it. Compensation and benefits are very fair and the time off is extremely generous.

    Cons

Parking at the office is a challenge on busy weeks.

    Advice to Management

As the company expands, reassess the structure of each department to help with the growing demands of the company as a whole.

I have been working at Achieve3000 (More than a year)

    Pros

training- out of this world. Have never experienced product training like A3K delivers. In Sales it is imperative to know your product and this company ensures you are an expert before you leave the "cone of silence" that is training. So important that you are not expected to sell- or do anything other than complete the training process. Most sales orgs will give you a brochure and throw you to the wolves. Not here. Management is open- and responsive. Work with you- not against you. Goals and incentives are totally achievable. Never have I seen so many Sales Reps in the Million Dollar club as I have here. If you want it- its within reach.

    Cons

First- I must say the marketing team in PHENOMENAL in their job. But- because they are so talented they are high demand- which sometimes means sales has to wait a bit to get collateral etc. No biggie. We can create our own when needed as long as it is in line with Saki's message.

    Advice to Management

Stay involved. The reason the sales team is the monster machine it is is because you are involved. The old saying "those who cant.....manage" is not applicable here. I was blown away by the fact that the CEO wanted to interview little old me. AND totally impressed that she cares enough to personally know and take on each of her employees.

I have been working at Achieve3000 full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Every employee at Achieve is focused on the shared goal of helping children as well as growing the business. Whether it's helping those in a classroom setting or their fellow coworkers, the members of the Achieve team are always willing to pitch in wherever they are needed. The environment in this company is rich with a teamwork mentality and I thoroughly enjoy coming to work every day. Achieve has an absolutely amazing product that is the direct result of all of the hard work and dedication its employees have contributed over the years. The company does a great job of acknowledging and rewarding those who strive to go above and beyond to further the company's mission.

    Cons

I really enjoy working for Achieve and don't have any cons to mention.

    Advice to Management

Keep focusing on the company's mission and rewarding your employees the way you have been over the years and this company will continue to go far!

    I worked at Achieve3000 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Decent vacation time offered, quiet work environment. For the most part, the office is filled with friendly people that are easy to get along with. Successful product that seems to be taking over the market.

    Cons

Company shows STRONG favoritism for a certain religion. They're offered jobs over more qualified candidates, and given promotions over more qualified employees. They come and go basically as they please, often coming in to the office late, and leaving early. And on Fridays? Forget it. They're all gone by 2pm while the rest of the employees are stuck working until regular hours. They fire non-religious employees at random with no warning (i.e. reviews/one-on-ones pointing out areas that need improvement), for seemingly little to no reason (though it seems like, behind the seems, reasons are petty at best). They also do so without thinking of the ramifications, often leaving entire departments struggling with work overloads until they can find replacements (which can take months, due to the extremely lengthy interview process).

    Advice to Management

Open your eyes and take a look around. It's easy enough to see the giant divide in this office, whether it's between religious and non-religious or upper management and the low men/women on the totem pole (who do triple the work, and are treated like garbage). Failure to address this is really going to be the downfall of this company.

    Cons

Employees dissatisfaction and lack of valuing their employees

Treat employees fairly = happy customers. Stop the revolving door and figure out how to stop the micromanagement and let employees take ownership of their responsibilities.

    I worked at Achieve3000 full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Enjoyed working with many of my coworkers. Lots of vacation time. The quality bar is so low that it's easy to excel if you even remotely know what you're doing.

    Cons

Company actually shows favoritism based on religion. Open positions tend to be filled by the favored folks, even if they're not a good fit. If they go through 2-3 of these folks for one position without success, then they'll finally put someone else in. Employees are let go regularly and seemingly randomly. Micromanagement is rampant. Product quality is shoddy. Significant technical issues get brushed under the rug. Management does not care about fixing things unless it jeopardizes a sale.

    Advice to Management

Stop the favoritism and put more resources into building a quality product.

I have been working at Achieve3000 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Company always putting money back into product. If this is a bad thing, don't apply. Great sales force with very few cancerous reps still around. Compensation plan and salaries as good as they get in industry. If you want a low salary and commissions that are terrible, this is not the place for you.

    Cons

Dealing with upset, past employees who could not hack being around such talented people in a competitive sales environment. Culture mandates excellence and some people are lazy and would rather complain. If you are still a complainer after this company has made you rich, find another job---don't stay.

    Advice to Management

Continue to have a lengthy interview process that will help weed out the cancers and people who cannot compete in a very competitive marketplace. Keep taking your employees to all expense paid club trips and keep rolling out fun ways to make more money for us reps who bust our tails each day. Find the cancers and get rid of them--life is too short.
