I worked at AchieveGlobal full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Hours not bad. External. Clients are nice. Pay was good

    Cons

The only employees that appear to be important to mangement are the sales team. You are expected to be available to the sales people you support and complete your work at the same time. Its like a juggling re

I have been working at AchieveGlobal for more than 8 years

    Pros

Great people and solid IP. Has good brand reputation (for now).

    Cons

Purchase by Providence Equity and re-branding to MHI Global have made AG a shell of what it use to be. Poor culture, bad communication from leadership and general lack of direction. Employee engagement is very low. Most field employees are looking for new jobs. Feels like a sinking ship.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Develop a change management strategy and communicate to employees.

I have been working at AchieveGlobal

    Pros

Midlde Management is strong and experienced. Some pockets of excellence in several different areas. Employees do sincerely help and care for one another. Many long time customers.

    Cons

Sharon Daniels is no longer CEO. CEO of Miller Heiman Sam Reese now directs the company from afar. Difficult sales environment, punitive compensation plan, and hostile chief sales officer. Marketing is very limited. Human Resources is not trusted. It's very difficult to get a handle on how AchieveGlobal will look in 6 months time.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good and fast is a nice message. The reality is not good and fast. This feels like a hostile takeover to "land grab " PSS, and attrition will continue.

Toxic work environment; the executive team is allowing the company to be dragged along by a non-communicative company.

I worked at AchieveGlobal full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Flexible work environment; ability to work from home 1-2 days per week
    Excellent mid-level management
    Opportunities for growth
Pockets of excellence - there are people who really care about their customers

    Cons

A Marketing department without a clue
An HR department that is basically invisible, and certainly does not make effort to energize, motivate, or even interact with the culture

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take a hard look at your talent, and deploy a sourcing, recruiting, and retainment strategy. Just because someone's been there for ten years doesn't mean they are still contributing to the overall health of the company. Make the hard business decisions. Just because someone is a "nice person" doesn't mean they are qualified. This statement is a direct quote from an executive to me about another manager. Reward your most efficient and effective workers. Perhaps employ a research and advisory service to help you achieve the type of culture that once existed at AchieveGlobal.
