New Leaders, less pay, more stress

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsMidlde Management is strong and experienced. Some pockets of excellence in several different areas. Employees do sincerely help and care for one another. Many long time customers.

ConsSharon Daniels is no longer CEO. CEO of Miller Heiman Sam Reese now directs the company from afar. Difficult sales environment, punitive compensation plan, and hostile chief sales officer. Marketing is very limited. Human Resources is not trusted. It's very difficult to get a handle on how AchieveGlobal will look in 6 months time.

Advice to Senior ManagementGood and fast is a nice message. The reality is not good and fast. This feels like a hostile takeover to "land grab " PSS, and attrition will continue.

ProsHours not bad. External. Clients are nice. Pay was good

ConsThe only employees that appear to be important to mangement are the sales team. You are expected to be available to the sales people you support and complete your work at the same time. Its like a juggling re

Toxic work environment; the executive team is allowing the company to be dragged along by a non-communicative company.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

    Consterrible executive leadership
no communication - 90% of people are completely in the dark

Good Company in need of Better Talent

    Sales Account Specialist (Former Employee)

ProsFlexible work environment; ability to work from home 1-2 days per week
    Excellent mid-level management
    Opportunities for growth
Pockets of excellence - there are people who really care about their customers

ConsA Marketing department without a clue
An HR department that is basically invisible, and certainly does not make effort to energize, motivate, or even interact with the culture

Advice to Senior ManagementTake a hard look at your talent, and deploy a sourcing, recruiting, and retainment strategy. Just because someone's been there for ten years doesn't mean they are still contributing to the overall health of the company. Make the hard business decisions. Just because someone is a "nice person" doesn't mean they are qualified. This statement is a direct quote from an executive to me about another manager. Reward your most efficient and effective workers. Perhaps employ a research and advisory service to help you achieve the type of culture that once existed at AchieveGlobal.

    Better than other companies ...

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsWork/Life balance is good. Great co-workers. Good benefits., the same as you would expect in middle to large companies.

ConsPay is low. More work/projects could be accomplished, but understaffed. No room for advancement. Middle management need leadership training. There are lots of closed doors. I'm recommending this company to friends, because is better than no job.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop listening to middle management and really get to know the associates. Our messages are not reaching you!

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
