    Pros

Employees work as a team. If there is a deal issue everyone comes together to help figure out a solution. This is a fun, energetic, & hardworking group of people that love the industry.

    Cons

Sometimes the work/life balance is a bit off and the staff workload and deadlines are heavy.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the moral and support. Support extends to hiring quality, smart, and dedicated staff to assist the managing directors and directors.

    Pros

Really smart real estate guys, deal machines in an up market. When things are going well, you will make a large amount of money relative to the number of hours you work. You will meet lots of important and powerful real estate people, including developers, investors, brokers, etc.

    Cons

Real estate crash tends to put a damper on things. There is no such thing as job security in this market-- when the financing vanishes there isn't too much to do.

    Advice to Management

Wait 5 years for a good real estate market again, slim down in the meantime.
