I have been working at Acloche full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

It's a family-oriented work environment. People are normally helpful in the organization.

    Cons

Limited opportunities for career growth. High turn over rate for recruiters. Lack of effective compensation and bonus plan to continue motivate staffing coordinators. There is no clear structure for employee's career path. As a Staffing Coordinator, it's very difficult to balance personal life outside work. It is expected that you work overtime three times a week during the peak season. Companies do not provide competitive base salary and bonus plan.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Suggest senior management team become more open to the ideas of subordinates and build a collaborative and supportive culture.

Misleading job opportunities; Senior management doesn't value employees.

I worked at Acloche full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Good team environment. They will hire anyone who is front office appropriate and can type. Therefore, good for entry level candidates.

    Cons

Terrible pay. They expect you to be extremely professional, work 60 hours a week, frown upon you taking a lunch, pay you a very low salary ($12/hr - some coordinators less!) and don't offer overtime. There are three types of employees at acloche: corporate, staffing coordinators, and the temps. Corporate has an unwarranted condescending nature towards coordinators. You surely know they look down on you. There is a high turnover rate for Coordinators because they are paid low, under appreciated, and worked way too hard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you are wondering why quality candidates leave so quickly it's YOU not them. Quit treating the coordinators like they are on an assembly line. Don't demand quality coordinators then not value their intelligence. Last, quit encouraging working through lunch and don't penalize those who need to leave on time (5pm) to tend to children. Both are illegal.

Former Employee - Recruiter/Staffing Coordinator in Columbus, OH

    I worked at Acloche

    Pros

Nice corporate feel, great sales team, good accounting/HR team. Good associate training. Solid planning/future vision for the company. Excellent PTO program. Good Health benefits. Active in community events and causes if that's important to you.

    Cons

Low starting pay - no true recruiters, mostly staffing coordinators. Monthly bonus metrics based on mark-up, fill rate, and data entry error rates are hard to hit. Low commission structure split between branch manager and coordinator/recruiter actually making the placement. A lot of Sr. level positions seem to get filled from outside the company rather than looking internally. Internal openings (branch management, operations management, sales team, on-site coordinators) are not announced to all associates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get in tune with the capabilities of internal staff members. Announce and open up management positions company wide and not to just a select few.
