    Pros

Great culture with regards to work-life balance, decent working hours, adequate time off

    Cons

Low pay, limited future. Excess middle and upper management .

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Stop buying up every company you can get your hands on and start investing in your employees who have been without a meaningful raise for over 5 years, some of them longer than that.

I worked at Acosta part-time (more than a year)

    Pros

You get to come in contact with and network with a diverse group of people, and you get to know the ins and outs of different companies, accounts, and products. Management is very easy to get along with.

    Cons

It took me almost 6 months to hear back on my job application, and I was also let go due to medical reasons and not rehired. There is also very little opportunity for job growth.

    Pros

Acosta was ok to work for but you knew you were bottom of the pile if you were "auditing".

    Cons

The management must be paid by how many stores you cover.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay the people on the floor better and you can spend less on training.

    Pros

I had a great manager who had the right balance of teaching / guiding. I learned a lot of new things, and felt a strong sense of team spirit, at least within my group.

    Cons

Company seemed to be struggling in some areas, and it wasn't always easy to know what was going on from my remote office location. Felt out of the loop at times.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Better communications with remote employees. Share more.

I have been working at Acosta

    Pros

making your own schedule if you was partime.

    Cons

aways shipping you POP and samples, coupons without any instructions. training was not done right had to learn on my own.
AND AFTER TWO YEARS WITH THEM THEY CUT MY HOURS IN HALF WITHOUT ANY NOTICE OR CARE IN THE WORLD HOW IT AFFECT ME AND MY FAMILY.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I feel that they should take more pride in there sales merchandisers and not let them get screwed in there hours and routs, help more with training, just like they do about telling you what you need to be doing we have families to raise. I really believed I had found a great place to work but I would have never accepted the job if I knew that they could actually be so cold of a company to cut my hours without notice and leave me to figure out how I am going to pay my bills. and just get a sorry from them.
