I have been working at Acosta part-time (more than an year)

    Pros

good starting money. hardly any raises. You could work when you wanted.

    Cons

hours are not consistant. add and take hours away in a blink of an eye

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

give employees more than a week to change your schedule. people need to know how many hours a week their going to work to budget their money.

I have been working at Acosta full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The Corporate Culture is good for the most part. Open door policy is great. Upper management is engaging and approachable. Company is growing, but mostly though acquisition.

    Cons

Average pay seems to be on the low side for many non-sales positions. The company is definitely experiencing some growing pains. Training is limited for Non LDP candidates.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Ideas get passed down too quickly, causing work to be useless and unnecessary.

I worked at Acosta part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Pay is good, worked with friendly co-workers, manager was laid back, work early and get off early, fri-sun off

    Cons

No raises, everybody is basically part time and can't work more than 29 hours, not much room for advancement, they don't pay for gas unless you go over 300 or more miles

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Make fridays a work day again so your employees can get atleast 35 hrs a week

I worked at Acosta full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Good company to work for, Openings around the country if you had to move, good time off, personal days, etc., and plenty of work/life balance.

    Cons

Training isn't great and salary increases on an annual basis are pretty much nil. People are there for a long time but don't want to change. they want to do their jobs the old way and not increase their knowledge of new ways of doing things.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Pay your employees with raises, even 25 cents a year. give them something

I have been working at Acosta full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The benefits are decent and my manager was very easy going. Im a sales rep and i don't have someone breathing down my back. i work alone and only get a phone call from my manager when something has to be done or when I'm needed.

    Cons

there is very little room to grow and not mention no raises. Many of us have part time jobs. this job does help with monthly maintenance of the car and pays or mileage and tolls

I have been working at Acosta full-time

    Pros

There are some very good knowledgeable people within Acosta.

    Cons

Senior management has forgotten what made this company what it was. It's the people! Treat them poorly and they will leave, and trust me they are leaving. Every time someone gives their notice, the work load gets dispersed among those that remain. After all why spend money on salary when their are so many employees you can continue to overload. Workloads are out of control and raises are non existent.
