    Apathetic Management

Team Lead (Current Employee) Edmonton, AB (Canada)

ProsStability, company invests a little into employees who stick around for a year or more. Good starting place for young people fresh out of school.

ConsWages are well below competitive standards. Employees feel completely separated from management, who willingly give false information to employees. Maximum raise year-over-year in some cases is 3%, for top performers. In most cases, 2% for non-management.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop segregating yourselves from the rest of the employees, and tell the truth. Pay competitive wages and invest more in your staff. Attrition should be much less than 30%, and in my estimate, it is much higher. Too many new faces over the years.

    ProsGood work environment
    Great co-workers
Great starting point for a new graduate
Paid training - When they are able to find training for you during their timeline
    Company Values

ConsEmpty promises are a major concern.
They encourage you to move up; but when you talk to your manager about it, they start taking things away.
Salaries are well below avg and cost of living increases do no exist.
Unrealistic work and expectations on managed service employees
    Benefits aren't the greatest

Advice to Senior ManagementStart paying employees what they are worth and offer more incentives to keep the better employees. Don't make false hopes and empty promises to employees looking to make this company work for them, but rather tell them the truth about the possibility of them moving up within the company.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

It's a revolving door and management just does not care

Systems Analyst (Former Employee) Edmonton, AB (Canada)

    ProsGreat co-workers
Contract with all major employers in the region
Nobody stays late, get to go home at the end of the day

ConsRevolving door so your new friends won't stick around for too long
Run into any ex employee, don't tell them you work there or you might get spit on
Ex employees hate this company with a passion
    Management does not care
Was lied to on several occasions and could prove it easily
Bait and switch on most job offers... you apply to work in Edmonton, and they want you to go work in Ft. McMoney for the same wages (that is impossible and anyone that falls for this usually quits or threatens to quit and then are transferred to Edmonton)

Advice to Senior ManagementStop acting like royalty, maybe say hi to one of your employees when you are alone in the lunch room with them instead of pretending we aren't there. You act high class but you sure aren't.

Not a bad Company at all

Systems Analyst (Former Employee) Calgary, AB (Canada)

ProsInvestment in people, good processes. Fun atmosphere most of the time
I have worked for their competition as well and the grass is no greener elsewhere either.
I still keep in touch with people in Calgary and they all seem pretty happy there.
Definitely worth applying and considering a career with Acrodex

ConsTheir location is a little too far from downtown, but a really nice office

Advice to Senior ManagementInvest in more Sales staff, you have a very solid services team
    Also possibly more management staff.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
