-Mission and Vision-dedicated leader-familial, genuine, caring atmosphere-decent communication from management to staff- good recognition of job well done-free downtown parking-good health benefits package-most employees are intelligent and well-suited for their jobs, if not exceeding those requirements in some cases; all employees during my tenure were kind and great to work with on a regular basis

Salaries are low for expected duties-need to recycle in new blood into the Board more often - agency struggles due to insufficient skills of some upper management as well as some long-time staff-run based on emotion rather than business needs more often than not - needs better balance between the aforementioned and running with a financial bottom line, despite it being a non-profit agency

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Only one, main point: focus more on the financial bottom line than on emotional attachments in running the business; leave emotions for those you service -- a.k.a. the children and their families as well as the needs of staff outside of the financial health of the agency. Overall, good place to work, and a great cause to support.
