Pros – Lots of flexibility, mature environment where people are empowered, expected to get on with their job and deliver results and trusted to organise their own workload and schedule.
Cons – Sometimes the exec team get tied down with issues that have little if any relevance to business growth or development.
Advice to Senior Management – Shake loose the cobwebs and leave the paperwork and fine detail alone and get involved at the sharp end of the business, the part that makes money and pays the wages.
