Pros – Your doing something that will really help large number of people, while using the same tools others use to just 'sell' stuff.
Cons – Office Politics is always an issue. Doesn't mean its a bad place, just have to be careful what you say and to who you say it to.
Advice to Senior Management – Some of the information your told, should be put though the bullsh** filter some more. Some falsehoods get believed by the wrong people and it creates unrealistic expectations.

Due to the usage of / availability to the Wide Area Network (WAN) and OTHER SCAMS, that if contacted by a "unknown" caller / mailer you assume the company is not legitimate or it's all a fraudulent scheme. Do your research first and NEVER assume!

Advice to Senior Management – Employees should have their own space and equipment (assigned cubicle and headset). This would produce or create a professional environment, make their employees feel like they're a value to the company AND part of the team. Acurian should care about their employees health. Sharing headsets at a call center is very unsanitary and can easily spread viruses / germs to all employees. While employees are screening candidates they may cough or inadvertently spit on the mouth piece. Cleaning wipes and replacement ear protectors should be provided to employees. If an employee forgets to remove their ear protectors at the end of their shift and another employee takes them, the employee is required to purchase a new pair.
Acurian does not offer ANY employee benefits or incentives i.e. sick leave, holiday pay, excused absences, health insurance, outside staff activities (bowling or other sports activities, family picnics, community fund raisers), manager availability (open door policy), "Employee of the Month" acknowledgement and / or award, etc..
If a company expects their employees to represent their services in a professional manner and perform at high level, they must in turn provide incentives and some benifits to their employees.
Pros – Good pay and flex scheduling.
Cons – Micromanaging was rampant.
Office politics made it impossible to get anything done.
People brought personal lives into work.
Hostile work environment.
Advice to Senior Management – Let people do the jobs you hired them to do.
