Pros
* People
* Flexible work hours
* Many things to learn - if this is your first job
Cons
Pretty much everything - no professional trainings, suck earnings, no promotions, no recognition, horrible management - some set-up meetings and do not come plus they show lack of respect.
I left the company after 3 years in 2009 and it was great decision.
Pros
It is a stable company, with enough clients to retain current position - and, if it wants (see Con's), the ability and to grow.
Cons
Little to no investment in new product and innovation; most of the current effort is focused on milking existing systems.
Pros
Nice team, ok manager. flexible time
Cons
salary is poor compared to market.
Advice to Senior Management
take care of employees to retain them
Pros
The flexible work schedule is a nice perk.
Cons
Poor pay compared to similar job roles in my area
Pros
Working with some great people, on the other hand, some of these great people have also quit Acxiom. Others are looking to leave.
Cons
No career paths or possibilites for advancement. Once you are in a position, don't plan on moving - even if you tell management you are interested in another area. Acxiom will bring someone in from outside rather than promoting or moving from within. Management brags about restoring the 3% pay cuts from a couple of years ago. As of Jan. 2011, employees only got 1.5% back.
Advice to Senior Management
Do nothing and all Acxiom will have left will be entry level people because the experienced people will all have moved to other companies.
Pros
People care about each other here. Great market presence and leadership. Doing some interest technical and business model changes.
Cons
Industry went through some tough times over the past to years and no one in the company was exempt. Even though pay and 401k were cut they have been almost reinstated.
Pros
Flexible time. Relax environment. Ability to work from home. Great people. Lots of teamwork. Very smart people. Exciting new developments.
Cons
Lots of fat. Things move slower than desired. Salary increases are slow. Things chance too quickly. In a few months nobody know who they will report to.
Pros
Acxiom is good in the work/life balance, they understand people have families, etc. Overall Acxiom is a good place to work.
Cons
The benefit program at Acxiom has really gone south over the years including pay cuts, minimal bonus, very small education reimbursement, removal of 401k, etc.
Pros
co-worker are really friendly. easy to work with them.Work from home. Don't need to wake up early.
Cons
management don't care about employees. They think people as number. They don't cover
employee if siltation arise. Too many hours you need to work and management don't applicate it. Management
always ask from more hours from you
Advice to Senior Management
Management need to put their act together.
Pros
Management was approachable and helpful.
Cons
Not much growth in the media specialist area.
