Pros – If you're willing to learn, there are a large number of extremely skilled people who are happy to share their knowledge
The culture is one of collaboration - we are all working towards putting out a best-in-class product and everyone, from the president down, is willing to put in long hours if needed
The company has created an atmosphere where I truly feel like my colleagues are my friends
The daily lunches, frequent potlucks, off-site parties, and celebrations of birthdays/babies/marriages all combine to bring us together
Cons – Getting company-related information quickly can be difficult at times
Advice to Senior Management – I'd like to see senior management show more willingness to share information around where we might be struggling in the market and what plans have been made to alleviate/ameliorate those struggles
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – Work Life Balance
Flexibility and Laid Back Environment
Free Lunch and Decent benefits
Cons – Lower Pay
No Career Advancement
Poor HR Policies (there is no HR at all except for 1 person who handles everything from payroll to ordering lunch
Advice to Senior Management – i) Create Opportunities for people to grow
ii) Make manager accountable for their actions (as I don't think anybody has any oversight as to how Managers are treating their team members)
iii) Don't make fake promises of bonus in offer letter when you can't afford them
iv) Hire some fresh blood and remove incompetent managers
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
