    I worked at Adchemy full-time

    Pros

Had a great time working here. The people were amazing, the work culture was very supportive, intellectually challenging environment and excellent pay and perks. Work/life balance was maintained very well. Very little time was wasted in meaningless meetings and conversations tended to be content driven. State of the art technology for solving some of the complex problems in the ad tech world. Congratulations on the acquisition.

    Cons

None that I can think of

I worked at Adchemy full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Get experience here, if you must, for a job you really want somewhere else. Otherwise give this company a wide berth.

    Cons

Sexist, incompetent top management that can't handle strong women; unprofessional conduct; tolerates extreme behavior in the cool clique. I was brought in for my turnaround skills and track record, lured by a very competitive offer and many promises, and got zero backing on my initiatives. I got out so fast you could hear my wheels screeching rubber, metaphorically speaking. CEO was unprofessional in word and deed in my meetings, regarding other people, so i can only imagine that he badmouths me, as well. Be forewarned.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take your earnings and leave the company in the hands of professionals. Your changes of direction and gossipy style are what keeps this company second rate, which it has been from day one. Nobody with a history in this space has any respect for you.

    Pros

    - free lunch, relaxed (albeit sometimes noisy) office environment
    - flexible working schedule and unlimited PTO
    - some talented and hardworking people
    - decent pay

    Cons

    - constantly in soul searching mode. the company changes directions almost every year
    - an engineering manager takes top-down approach and micromanages, and nitpicks on technical details. engineer morale is low. intellectual freedom often discouraged.

    I worked at Adchemy

    Pros

Free lunches, happy hours, great co-workers

    Cons

New management that has changed the culture from what it once was. The golden years may be over.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be employee centric. The culture and set of rules should not drastically change from manager to manager. Make a written description of what the culture is that you want to maintain and make sure each manager works around those guidelines like workplace/time flexibility, and never denying time off if burnout is occurring.

I have been working at Adchemy full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Nothing I can think of. Lunch is provided, but it is cheap food that will make you sick. Empty promises with no clear plan on execution.

    Cons

No sense of direction and very cliquey. If you're not a part of the "cool crowd" you will be pushed out, and disrespected. The Company is running out of money and the turn around there is through the roof. Not a long term company to be at. Keep looking if you're considering because chances are you will be looking shortly after accepting a position. Hands down the worst company I have ever worked for in my 10+ years in software sales. Would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to manage. Formulate a plan and execute on it. Stop changing direction so often and commit to a plan.

I have been working at Adchemy full-time

    Pros

    Interesting ideas for innovation
    Partnership with Microsoft
    Smart people

    Cons

    Very poor project execution
    Very top-down approach
    Too much cronyism
Evaluation of stock hasn't moved in several years

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Cliques are bad for business, and people not in the reigning clique feel marginalized. Used to be a place where everyone felt they were striving towards common goals, need to return to that kind of community feeling.

CEO is fair, but should listen to rank and file more.

I have been working at Adchemy full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great leadership from the top, with fast moving teams. Working a big market with huge growth potential. Great work life balance with fun work environment/ perks. CEO moves fast, delivers results. Ad Ops team is stellar and always on top of their game.

Perks: Lunch Monday- Thursday, snacks, fruit, beer, yogurt, bagels, Philz coffee. Also unlimited PTO! Great company parties too.

    Cons

Growth faster pace than can be supported. But not a bad problem to have. Manpower should soon match pace. Also if you can't keep up with growth, pace of innovation, may not be right for you,

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep pushing hard with aggressive goals and innovate fast. Compensate great employees well to ensure they stay and acquire smart talent in the same way. If employees can't keep up, need to have quick review process to improve and help them get up to speed. Keep the compounding interest philosophy from Einstein going!
