I worked at Adecco full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Adecco is a great company for finding employment if you just need money coming in. I've worked for a few different companies through Adecco. The office I was at was big on forklift drivers, but they also did clerical stuff and call center. It's really a mixed bag, because some of their jobs are definitely better than others. The good news is that if you just don't like a job they will find you another, but if you walk out or something like that, they will put you in a Do Not Use list just like a regular employer. They mostly do temp positions, but some of them are temp to hire, and I know people who have gone permanent through Adecco.

    Cons

Adecco is a tricky company. They'll probably be able to get you a job, but what kind of job depends a lot on which office you go to. Some offices are all warehouse, some are more focussed on office jobs. Also, it might take a few weeks for them to find you a job depending on what you want to do and your qualifications..

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep better touch with employees after they are on the job. At my last temp position, none of us knew when our assignment was ending.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

working people 2 weeks then laid off...will mess with your unemployment checks...this practice must be discontinued... A least tell new hires you can lose your job your job at anytime

I have been working at Adecco as a contractor (less than an year)

    Pros

It is pretty easy to communicate with the local office. The local staff is willing to help with any concerns.

    Cons

For my job there it is impossible to ever get any benefits due to holidays. Benefits require 40 hours / week for 90 days. The system seems rigged.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Recognize that we are the new face of America, and do something for your employees. We are the mothers, fathers, sisters and brothers in the United.States. SInce employers are forcing us off the payroll and into contract work, make it possible to get benefits or paid holidays. We are working hard for you!
