I have been working at Adecco

    Pros

Autonomy, growth opportunities, people, leadership, growth industry, benefits, competitive compensation.

    Cons

Long hours and a great deal of travel. It is a start up division within a larger orgainziation. It's what makes it exciting and overwhelming all at the same time. External pressure buy the buyer to deliver programs for less.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Don't lose your passion within a larger global corporate structure.

I have been working at Adecco

It's a big company with lots of opportunities

    Cons

Lots of people, which inevitably means a mix of great people and some mediocre people

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Adecco

    Pros

    location and that is it

    Cons

Adecco is attempting to lie to state unemployment offices. They terminated my employment. I then filed unemployment. They filed a claim stating I voluntarily quit. The Phoenix office will not put it in writing for me but will tell me verbally that they ended my employment rather then me quiting. Beware. Do not work for this company. Also professionalism does not exist.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Report unemployment claims correctly

Current Contractor - Anonymous Contractor in Oslo (Norway)

I have been working at Adecco as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

    *Friendly HR managers
    *Quick response times from HR
*Ability to sample a lot of different jobs and companies
    *Pay is every two weeks
*Ability to take a vacation or time off anytime

    Cons

*Very inconsistent employment periods: sometimes, they'll ask you to work seven days per week, while sometimes, you may not get any offers for a month
*Really hard to claim any benefits
*No travel fare compensation, and they will sometimes put you on a job that takes three buses to get there
*Constant feeling that you are expendable

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to spread out the employment periods a little bit more evenly. In case of a low-season, warn the employees in advance. Also, consider the fact that not every contractor owns a car and spending almost two hours getting to a workplace is not acceptable.

I worked at Adecco full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

The salary there was good. I met some great people. Already know the feeling to work in open-office. Opportunity to present.

    Cons

Unprofessional behavior from some people. No clear feedback from my manager. Bullying from several colleagues. They did not give me the opportunity to develop myself.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be professional! My personal life is not your business.

I have been working at Adecco full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Its a Job, pays the bills, when I actually get paid what im owed

    Cons

Took holiday on 2nd of January, it is now 6th February. Have not yet received my holiday pay, wont get it until at least next payday (weekly pay too). Have spoken to the woman who processes the payroll twice and ourbcontract manager twice also. The blame keeps getting passed on between the two. Many of my colleagues have also had problems with adecco payroll, it is a regular thing. Will definitely be putting a complaint in to human resources and head office on monday

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Dont mess with peoples pay
