Pros – Pay was appropriate, with proper negotiations. Funding was available for projects with a reasonable business case. Perks were adequate.
Opportunities for advancement were readily available.
Cons – Management was schizophrenic, with no clear and consistent project prioritization. Money is wasted on projects that are doomed to failure, while projects with a clear path to success are cut. Too many good employees have left during past transitions.
Staff turnover was high and internal documentation limited. As a result only a few "old guard" are left that really understand existing systems.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
Pros – Depending on location and management style, could be fun.
Cons – Expectations at times were unreasonable.
Advice to Senior Management – The "tone at the top" is important. Inconsistency creates confusion for middle management and employee directives.
