Pros
Adicio provided the perfect environment for growth. I always felt that my opinion was valued and my work appreciated.
Cons
You must adapt to change quickly because it comes very fast!
Advice to Senior Management
Continue to make Adicio a fun place to work and grow. Recognition is key!
Pros
Co-workers are intelligent and motivated
Progress is encouraged
Excellent performance is recognized and rewarded both company-wide and individually
Communication is timely and accurate
Valuable, relevant ideas and brainstorming are expected in meetings
Professionalism both internally and with clients is the standard
Benefit package is well above the competition; 401k, health and wellness, massage, quarterly social events including catered holiday party, bagel Friday, daily kitchen snacks, remodeled facilities, etc.
Company meetings every other month with all department heads and updates; including peer review awards.
Social site within the company is a fun way to share events, photos, info.
Cons
peer review could be better with more feedback more often.
Pros
salary and benefits are ok
Cons
most sites are not functioning properly and it is ignored. Customer and employees are not respected. People are treated as disposable and there is a high turnover. So if you are not in the clique, you will be out, no matter how high you perform
Advice to Senior Management
listen to some of the reviews as a majority of people over the years would not report such bad treatment if it was not true. Favoritism is out of control and treatment of employees is not good in general. As others said on here, treat employees and customers with respect and your company will be more profitable.
Pros
Lots of smart people and a fun, easy-going atmosphere. Lots of work flexibility. Expectations are high, but the work is very challenging. Lots of perks, like company lunches, free massages, ping-pong tournaments, off-site parties. Good awareness of of local charities and chance to take time off for charitable work.
Cons
Feels like a small town where everyone knows a lot about everyone else, so not much privacy. Tough economy has forced some cutbacks.
Advice to Senior Management
Give employees a chance to own stock in the company, or create a profit-sharing program so everyone can share when the company grows.
Pros
Free massages by on-site massage therapist
Cons
Micro-management
Zero communication from senior management downward
"Favored" employees get special treatment
Pros
A lot of the coworkers are great people. The pay is competitive.
Cons
Management is now cutting corners to the extent that it's obvious the company is going down the tubes. They're taking away the water coolers now because they are trying to save money. They put a filter on the tap in the kitchen instead. Are you kidding me? Are things so bad that we can't afford WATER even?
Also they have decided to stop subsidizing the soda machine so a can of soda is going from .50 to .85. Who the hell wants to pay .85 for a can of soda? You can buy them in a 12-pack at Stater Bros. for $3.50.
Our Christmas parties have gone from a Del Mar Racetrack Suite to a restaurant to an afternoon event at the Belly Up (on a weekday) to finally this year a gazebo at one of the senior manager's housing complex.
So let's get this straight: no water, no sodas - can't afford them (although let's be honest, how much does anyone really think those cost the company? $500/mo maybe?). Masseuse on staff? Yep, we can afford that. Free car detailing for management? Yep, totally in the budget.
I really think management thinks we're all a bunch of idiots.
"Tap water: if it's good enough for our free car washes, it's good enough for you to drink."
Advice to Senior Management
Stop thinking we're idiots - try being more honest with everyone. When you lay someone off and don't replace them everyone knows what's going on, despite pretending it's all for "cause."
Pros
Fair pay and wonderful people and co-workers. It really feels like a family over just a place to work. They focus on perks to help keep morale high and reward the hard workers with benefits like the masseuse, monthly meals and activities like the co-ed softball league and bowling team. They also periodically recognize top achievers by giving out what they call 'Circle Awards' which is nomitated by other employees and recognized at a company meeting in front of the entire company. Even if they aren't perfect they try hard to celebrate successes and learn from mistakes and feedback given.
Cons
Some people who have been with the company for many years are given special treatment. Emotions run high here. Things are pretty fast paced and recognition can get overlooked (at times).
Advice to Senior Management
Remember to recognize top performers. Try to keeps emotions in check. Be honest and direct when dealing with your staff.
Pros
The employees are great people; a playful and fun environment and there is a masseuse there. If you are a brown noser, then management will cherish you.
Cons
Adicio is what you would call "golden handcuffs" and "leading by fear." Management sees in the short term and often berates employees to the point that they lose all motivation. This is a tactic that is done over time. Employees are publicly humiliated in meetings when they don't understand something and training is limited to help them learn from their mistakes. Management does not listen to ideas offered by employees and is not well regarded in the industry.
Advice to Senior Management
Management needs to treat the employees with respect and appreciation and realize that rewards need to be spread throughout the company rather than put aside for the executives that are already earning top dollars. The employees need an environment where they can speak their minds freely without the threat of rebuttle and humiliation.
Pros
Free massages, nice office, good pay
Cons
Adicio's top management has no respect for their employees. They treat people like they are dispensible. Top management speaks horribly about each other and clients. It is a toxic environment.
Advice to Senior Management
Treat people with respect. Take an HR class
Pros
Decent pay. Great people. Fun atmosphere. On staff massage therapist. Newly renovated bathrooms! Plenty of work to keep you busy.
Cons
Terrible technology. Idiotic senior management. Perpetual politics. Layoffs disguised as firings. People quitting in droves. Clients dropping like flies. This company is dying.... FAST. STAY AWAY!
Advice to Senior Management
Give up. Your competitors are running circles around you, and you are too arrogant to do anything about it.
