Pros
Excellent work culture
Excellent support from Senior Management
A family experience
A pure technology driven company
Cons
Test Ladder has been a concern, but I have not seen any company driving the test technology ladder.
Advice to Senior Management
Continue recruiting the best passionate software engineers. Do not lower the quality as one bad dough is enough to spoil the entire batch
Pros
Aditi has a very open work culture. Managers are not bossy mostly and you can approach anyone in the organization easily. Flexible timings and no dress code. You can discuss your interests with your manager and do the things you like. The learning curve at Aditi is very steep. There will be more learning opportunities and promotions are mostly given to the deserving people. You can choose your career ladder depending on your interests. With all the above + Decent Pay, makes Aditi as great place to work.
Cons
Work- Life balance is a problem in few projects
Pros
good place to grow and work
Cons
lack of management and higher levels
Advice to Senior Management
join and get rewarded as u progress
Pros
Work flexibility is best in industry
Cons
career growth is very slow
Pros
Aditi is a good place to jump start your career especially if you are looking for an opportunity to work in Microsoft or have interest in sales. This is primarily Microsoft shop; but good for a short time employement.
Cons
I had joined this company hearing about some good things; but seems like it is too good to be true
Some facts which I would like to share ...
This company has never grown beyond a point. There had been over 1000+ employees and still its the same in years with a very high attrition rate.
There is too much bias and "Organization Dynamics" (politics) in this company; just way too much for a company of this size. Consider joining this company if you are a politician rather than a software pro.
Be careful on your billing. I have seen great engineers working on assignments at Microsoft billed well but paid very less. As much as 33% goes as overhead for those managers / management who just don't deserve it and live on your earnings.
Consider this company only for short term; and careful when your contract is coming to an end. I have heard scary stories where they soft terminate employees just so that they don't quit the company and work like slaves. I have heard that they have ruined many lively hood that way.
Check to ensure that you receive your pay stubs promptly and your salary matches what is promised. Some have had a variable pay and the variable pay is never paid.
There are some old timers who are incompetent but pretty much rule the organization and influencing the company not in a favourable way; which is changing the perception of what this company once used to be.
Advice to Senior Management
Bring some transparency into the org; curtail biases and organization politics. Your employees are are meant to be software pros and not politicians.
Pros
I really enjoyed the people that I worked closely with.
Cons
No room for growth, no growth potential, you are treated like a slave and not rewarded properly, I was there for almost 2 years without a raise or even a review, nothing.
Advice to Senior Management
Look at the people who are doing your work for you, your supporters, respect them and appreciate them especially those in HR.
Pros
Good Microsoft Shop; If you are new and look at gain some experience on Microsoft assignments
There are some cutting edge assignments to work on; if you are lucky
Nice place for a short term assignment and if you are liking to change frequently to new tech to work on
Cons
Bad Management
Biased Managers, Perf reviews are often skewed
Organization Politics is tool much for this small software boutique
More than 33% of your earnings goes on Management overheads
Scary practices of soft terminating employees so that they don't quit and make them work like slaves; heard has ruined many livelyhood.
You are not paid what is promised; the variable pay is almost always never paid
Management bothers only about revenue and sales targets
Employee satisfaction is low; attrition is high
Advice to Senior Management
Please act on employee feedback and the so called temp check that you have in place
Ensure fare Perf reviews and take action against those irresponsible managers
Pros
thought its a good company but after working there got to know, not a good company at all
Cons
not good,no consideration for employees ,
Advice to Senior Management
become emplyee friendly not money friendly
Pros
Great values and ethics
Admirable people culture
Fantastic peers & community
Open style of management
Great learning opportunities
Accelerated career growth
Fun place to work
Good facilities and infrastructure
Cons
Variable pay process too cumbersome
Work - life balance can be better
Leadership is skewed towards US and Sales centricity
Advice to Senior Management
You are doing most things right. Your values and culture stand you in good stead.
You need to ensure the leadership in India is better empowered
Pros
Friendly environment and Flexible timings. Get to learn the latest Microsoft Technologies like AZURE, Mobile App development, CRM 2011 etc.
Cons
Can't say anything. Company needs to grow more in terms of the head count etc. Short term projects and it that will create an unstable environment.
Advice to Senior Management
Focus on some long term projects. Focus on bringing in support oriented projects as this leads to increase in head count and hence growth of the company.
