    Pros

You must be good in Algorithm and Data structure. Dont forget to brush basic skills like entry level programming. Good grip in RDBMS

I worked at Aditya Birla Minacs full-time for less than a year

    Pros

    compensation is decent
    they provide split offs.
entirely day shift and / or rotational at the same time.
    good transport facility
provision of Provident Fund as part of compensation.
lots of opportunities to work on different processes that suits your qualification.
    good brand image

    Cons

there is huge disconnect between what is expected by Quality team and what is being trained. the Operations Managers dont even interact with the new joinees periodically and understand their needs. the Quality team only likes to fail the new joinees in mock calls and expect the joinees to know what is not thought. the Quality team is biased and only want to show their superiority and boss over the new joinees.

they dont look at what good things the new employee bring to the organization.

those who make through mock calls also quit because of lack of hands on training and different expectation from different Quality & Operations managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

please take good care of your employees and address their needs. Understand their skills and help them identify hidden talents. further reduce the disconnect and discontent between the various teams and the new employees and those currently working on the process floor.

I have been working at Aditya Birla Minacs full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

You will get salary at end of each month's working day, if you consider it in pros.

    Cons

Attrition rate is very high. I found many people leave the company in first week of joining itself.
HR department is a puppet of senior management and has no concern for employees.
Annual appraisal will be maximum 5% (lots of politics behind that too).
    They treats employees like slaves.
They are losing their existing projects one by one and there is no new projects since last 3 years.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Have some respect for the employees, which is a very basic thing.
Only after this, we can think about anything else.

I worked at Aditya Birla Minacs full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Small so everyone is noticed. Part of a large diversified group and hence some security. Group's international presence can be an advantage.

    Cons

The group is strong in core industries but novices in technology space. Lack of critical mass ensured the company never qualified for large deals. The group was not even looking to support the company by providing internal IT business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get big or exit the IT/ITES space. Let people who know run those.

I have been working at Aditya Birla Minacs part-time for less than a year

    Pros

I really enjoyed in India as a French customer representative.. Before starting working, I took a full-time training. It was a nice experience working there.

    Cons

In Aditya Birla Minacs, as we working working on behalf of MBNA(a credit card company located in CANADA) our target was to make people buy the MBNA credit card by providing a low interest rate.

I worked at Aditya Birla Minacs full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Awesome company to work. The manager with whom i worked before 7 months prior to my relieving was a great mentor, leader with a Vision & she new how to handle team, inspiration to every human being she was a Gem of a person.

    Cons

Manager with whom i worked last six months during the time of my relieving is a real time damager, he will motivate you & your team to leave the organisation . he is after money ......money........ & Micromanagement. within the Span of 6 months entire team moved out who worked with the organisation for for more than 3 to 9 yrs.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Think twice before you hire a senior management position ( VP/AVP) . The person with over all his 20yrs career who has changed 22 Companies , you should think before hiring. Company's rapport will go down if you hire a person who is just after money....money.....nothing else.
