    Pros

Adknowledge has great health benefits. Ideas and opinions of individual employees are encouraged and highly considered. It's a fun office culture with great incentives for acting above and beyond. Company wide activities also encourage social interactions.

    Cons

Technology used. Microsoft Exchange can be difficult to use and integrate.

    Advice to Management

    Allow remote work.

    Pros

Co liked to hire good looking girls, evident in that one of the directors married his office manager whom reported to him. Occasional paid lunches.

    Cons

Commonly commission was changed quarterly.."Cheese was moved regularly" , CEO was pompous and cold. Took a 70 million $ payout and brought in euro ceo to clean up his mess. Salary increases unheard of , even with stellar performance and Revenue increases. KC and most technology stack hidden from sales team for fear of competition

    Advice to Management

Advance candidates from within.. do not play favorites and at least pretend you appreciate those that made you the fortunes specifically I direct that to the Chairman and President of the Co. Stock Options are a foreign concept, toxic place to work!!

    Pros

Good resources, awesome technology, great benefits, easy culture, supportive teams.

    Cons

Some of the technology is so complex that it is difficult to stray from established paths without some effort. Some people (few) are just punching the clock and/or doing what they have always done including generating reports but aren't evolving further nor using the reports to generate hypothesis for improvement.

    Advice to Management

You are 90% running an awesome ship - find the existing top revenue areas or potential top revenue areas and try to weed out that 10% that is keeping you from achieving the maximum performance you could be.

    Pros

Free lunches Mon and Weds; free snacks, soft drinks/beer 24/7 Open environment among contract writers No dress standard (shorts OK); levis the norm

    Cons

I was part of team hired to re-write the entire series of ads offered to ADK's clients. From the beginning, there was no structure as to word/character length, style and size of ads, in fact, early ads had to be re-written because there were no creative guidelines at the outset. In the middle of the project, the entire creative department was purged, our computers either confiscated or access denied. Up to this point, we had increased revenue by 3%; but mgt. goal was an increase of 6%. When you're changing everything, you can't expect 6%; you have to test and retest, both copy and design. There was no explanation. Because California is an 'at will' state, ADK could terminate all of us (and they did) with no prior notice. The management of the department was fired as well (VP and PM levels). That's the way the senior management of the company works. Would I recommend it as a career path? No. As a part-time gig? Maybe.

    Advice to Management

Why would I offer them advice? They seem to know everything. (CLUE: even though they are multimillionaires, they don't).
