Pros
It is easy to take time off, and the retirement plan is pretty good. Also, it is a pretty low stress job.
Cons
No promotions, lots of office politics and favorite playing, VERY low pay.
Advice to Senior Management
Pay your employees reasonalbe salaries and reward hard work.
Pros
Co-workers (not management) are what keeps people sane!
Cons
This company could care less about its employees. The company gives 0-1% raises to the worker bees, while uneducated, overpaid senior management employees are paid hefty salaries, bonuses and given huge salary increases. Not only did the company reduce their pay incentives such as bonuses and salary increases, they even had the nerve to TAKE vacation, personal and sick days AWAY FROM from the employees, while posting record profits. There is no positive reinforcement , only negative. Admiral is a sinking ship and employees are desperately trying to jump ship before it sinks. This place is a joke! Stay away if you're looking for a rewarding career with a company that values its employees.!
Advice to Senior Management
Hire a real HR VP who has a degree who employees can trust and vent to without the threat of having every word repeated, or without the fear of retaliation; pay your employees competitive salaries, raises and bonuses instead of over-compensating senior management; give positive feedback instead of over emphasizing the negative; stop wasting money on needless trinkets and put the money in employees paychecks!
Pros
good life/work balance, ok salary
Cons
no way for advancement, some managers have no idea what they are doing and talk out of both sides of their mouth
