Some managers are really bad and they don't treat you well
No competitor in NCR area like Microsoft, Google etc so management take advantage of that in giving you appraisals as you don't have a place to go in NCR

Manager is not always right so be transparent in the review process

Respect ideas

Pros

Great Infrastucture and buildings. The compensation structure is great and the benefits are excellent. Great for engineering related jobs and innovation.

Cons

Great for engineering roles but for other roles it may be a challenge as the top thinking is heavily influenced by the engineering sensitive areas of the brain.

Top Management needs to think business and not like a software programmer where if the result is negative number, it implies a failure. Concept of investment, time lag, time horizon and long term results need to be understood in practicality.

Extremely boring work, especially if you are stuck maintaining something old and rickety.
Some level of ass licking is needed. Politics is also gaining ground.
Higher management seems unwilling to embrace new ideas - unless the same ideas come from US management.
Not many opportunities to go abroad.

Advice to Senior Management

India teams need to be in the driving seat with innovations. Many of the ideas are discarded by management because they are not in-line with what is expected from them by US management. However, those ideas have potential to be money spinners.

Good employee care, work culture, good compensation , good facilities , nice building they have
Overall its a nice workplace if oyu get a good quality work

Cons

If stuck with a team with not good quality work, then only a bad place to work otherwise its nice

Should focus more on technological improvements rather than focusing on documenatation of work . This one is specific to my case and not in general

It is located in Noida and has favourable location. Not many 'branded' software companies are there in NCR.

Adobe is very conservative in its expenses
