I have been working at Adobe full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

For a big company, they offer great base pay, benefits and a great location.

    Cons

The worst management I have ever seen. The highly matrixed organization makes it so there is no accountability and more people are spending time on pet projects than their own team. Everyone is performing at 2 levels below their capability. The no review / check-in process fosters no clear goals, no career development and constantly having a new boss (through yearly re-orgs) give your review with no knowledge of your actual performance.

I worked at Adobe full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great company with great products! Adobe tends to pay well and has wonderful benefits. They are the market leader in most of what they do, I was always proud to tell people I worked at Adobe. I worked remotely, but all of the Adobe facilities I visited were fantastic.

    Cons

The biggest con (and the only reason I didn't rate 5 stars) is that every November, virtually everyone in the company has to be worried about their job. Adobe tends to go full force at something for a while and then rather than making small incremental changes they drastically change direction, budgets are slashed and you are gone. Very little commitment to good employees.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should do a better job helping good employees find new places in the company when direction changes.

    Pros

The products are great, the people are great and the work environment is great. There is also good work-life balance amongst the employees.

    Cons

The jobs are mostly for seasoned professionals and there is not much on the job training. Also, it is somewhat difficult to rise within the organization.

    Pros

Benefits, vacation, working remote. There is always something to work on

    Cons

Sometimes it gets too hectic. Working remote you need a balance. Also, sometimes the processes get in the way.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Good benefits, great products. Adobe provides good technical support and good support tools. Adobe is growing at a very fast rate and tends to promote within.

    Pros

I think one of my favorite things about Adobe is the work culture. I like the environment and it helps the jobs and product are really awesome.

    Cons
