I have been working at Adobe Systems India full-time (less than a year)

    Pros

    1. Adobe is a big brand and offers the best work life balance.
    2. Experienced, helpful and extremely friendly senior management
    3. Free Meals
    4. Free Cabs
    5. Free Gym facility
    6. Unlike most MNCs, the organization is extremely flat and you can communicate with the senior management without hurting anyone's ego.

    Cons

    1. Double standards while hiring employees. People with the exactly same skill set and experience are offered different pay packages. I would highly recommend negotiating as hard as you can with the HR execs. The human resource department have no set standards and hence you must aim high and sell yourself for as much as you can. I know it seems bizarre that an organization like Adobe would have no defined pay standards but I have been told that mine is not the only case.
    2. Don't even think about getting a good appraisal. The only good money you can make is when you are hired. Therefore, I would again insist to negotiate as hard as you can when you are being hired.
    3. Discuss the job profile in details (Although I did that and the role eventually turned out to be quite different to the one I was hired for, which is sad) but still detailed discussions from the very beginning helps you in setting the right expectations rather than getting disappointed later.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    1. More team meetings and chances to interact with the senior management.
    2. A candidate goes through 5-6 interview rounds before receiving the final offer which understandably is a requirement to ensure Adobe hires the best. Unfortunately, the process takes over at least 6 weeks and the HR execs are really poor with their follow ups with candidates. The worst part is that you don't receive any communication until one day before the next round of interview, leaving you waiting anxiously for weeks. This is not how a company of Adobe's stature should handle their prospective employees and the HR exec's must ensure this stops.
    3. The most important thing that Adobe is missing is a standard pay package structure where employees with the same skill set and experience should be compensated fairly. A company just can't offer totally different pay packages to someone who negotiates harder than others.
    4. There is a saying which goes as "A successful interview is the outcome of a conversation where two liars perfectly play their parts". This holds true for Adobe as well. The management must have detailed discussions among themselves before hiring any candidate for a role. Most of my team members were told fairy tales about a consulting profile which turned out to be an extremely manual job. You may end up hiring a good resource to do this extremely manual work but in the long term, this would only increase the attrition rates.

I worked at Adobe Systems India

    Pros

    Good work environment
    Great people to work with
    Good food and facilities

    Cons

    Testers paid lesser salaries
Lesser opportunities for testers to grow beyond manager

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

People in quality engineering/ testing being paid much less than the development guys. To some extent, it can be justified by looking at the academic background of people in both roles in general(dev guys being from IITs/DU/NSIT/DCE mostly). But in general, testers have lesser options to grow above QA managers and above.

    Pros

Work life Balance is very good. And the office culture promotes patents and innovative ideas. Free food is there too.

    Cons

The kind of work you do really depends on the team you are in. It can range from maintaining legacy code to writing new component. But more or less the work is just above average.

I have been working at Adobe Systems India full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Only good thing about Adobe India is the salary they offer at the time of joining. After that they don't care.

    Cons

No training, everything is DIY here.
    Management never hear the employee.
I kind of feel that the managers at Adobe India are snobbish just because they think they have the manager tag.
Appraisals Suck!! You would hear all year that you have done an excellent job and get peanuts(that too empty) at the time of appraisal.
    Perks have gone down.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Since I am working in the support domain at Adobe India. The managers are making it a call center every day.
