    I worked at Advaco full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    There are very few pros to working at ADVACO, maybe that their starting pay rates are adequate or that they don't work weekends or holidays but that is about it.

    Cons

    ADVACO is a completely unethical company. They switch serial #'s on pumps, they send out pumps as rebuilds when they have not been torn down, cleaned and rebuilt. As far as their relationship with employess its non-existent, they treat their employees on a personal level like they are less than equals, very little communication nor caring which produces an end result of pumps being done and sent out that are substandard because employees don't care which is why their field failure and warranty work rates are so high.

    Advice to Management

    Start acting in an ethical manner and repair your relationships with your employees before the current trickle of employees leaving the company turns into a deluge. Get shop management some training on how to interact with employees on a personal level.

    Pros

    The company is very aggressive in attracting new clients and is growing very fast. They promote from within and seem to have things going well for them.

    Cons

    The insurance package is very expensive. I know a coworker that found insurance for his family through a private insurer for less than half the cost of Advaco's premiums.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to the customer and what they want at all times no matter how silly it may seem. The customer is trying to see if Advaco can handle the pressure when it is crunch time.
