Pros
The pay is ok but the pay for performance mantra is gorssly overrated. There is a lot to do and more keeps getting piled on everyday with no understanding or allowence to that fact.
Cons
Way to much to do and not enough time or understading given. DDO and above are company drones and do not understand or care about the plight of the center level employee. 34 million in quarterly profits are not enough... cut center employee hours even though budgets profit margin is increasing in that center.
Advice to Senior Management
Take the approach of center by center, not everyone needs or deserves the same consideration or supervision. Bottom line, when a manager is doing well, recognize it with more than a pat on the back or 3 word e-mail, allow him or her to do their job and manage the center.
