A lot of good badly managed people.

    Anonymous Employee (Former Employee)

ProsNot too bureaucratic, a lot of smart people (even after quite a few left for the greener pastures), good salary for Polish conditions, new CEO seems reasonable and does try to improve some of the problems.

ConsLots of politics and "us vs them" attitude between groups and offices including actively blocking other groups' work, huge amounts of time and resources wasted for rewriting software from scratch over and over again, no career path (only two distinguishable levels in engineering - engineer and expert, with no clear promotion criteria), widespread "yes sir!" culture with no respect for subordinates' opinion or private life, overtime is expected from employees ("you can't write good software in 8 hours"), a few morale-wrecking actions like quite massive lay-offs followed by "we're hiring" a month later, employees have to use pretty old and underpowered PCs and TVs, permanent cost reduction phase which makes buying even cheap tools nearly impossible.

Location in Zielona Gora is nice, close to forest,
    friendly colleagues,
    big parking space,
    nice fountains,

Consyou have to work 9-10h per day otherwise you will have problems.... (there are no paid overtime, sometimes you can order pizza for free)
    no newbe introduction, courses, trainings...
Old (3 years) computer with small screen to work on.

Short vision and weak management. Rare to meet senior engineer in this company due to its incompetent managers.

Software Engineer (Former Employee) Taipei (Taiwan)

ProsAverage salary and opportunities to learn something from this company in DTV industry.

ConsPoor business strategy, weak management and arrogant attitude.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Incompetent executive board (except a couple of individuals)

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

    ProsGood engineers and project managers
Good sales force (including business development)
Good company to work for, if you can say yes to all absurdities from executives

ConsUnclear strategy and planning, despite many CEO firings
Serial value destroyer: companies acquired by ADB were poorly integrated and their value-add was lower than expected (e.g., Vidiom, Pirelli)
"Yes Sir" company culture: executives are always right
Poor employee morale, despite modest salary raise (2-3%)

Advice to Senior ManagementChange the executive board or sell the company before it is too late!!!!

    Higher management is totally crap

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsSalary is always paid at the end of the month.

    ConsNo bonuses for 4 years
Salary raise after 4 years 2-3%
    Sport card cancelled
    No carrier path
People are fired, no new engineers are hired

Advice to Senior ManagementSell the company to someone else who knows how to run the business or let the competition win.
Firing people one by one is not a way to go unless you want to close the bussiness next year.

    Proshappy hour every month
    daily work is not hard

Totally unuseful, a complete waste of time

Anonymous Employee (Current Employee) Milan (Italy)

ProsGood cantine, medical assistance, nice to shopping in the nearby area. Long period of inactivity and time to send CV to other companies.

ConsManagers are inept, and have no idea of how to conduct the business.
No visibility and a lot of political games.
No benefits, no possibility to build up your career.
No possibility to park your car in the private parking if you are not a manager even though more than half of the area is completely empty.
    Mineral water is not free.

Advice to Senior ManagementChange your management, otherwise in one year there will be no more ADB Broadband. People are escaping and are extremely unhappy.
