Pros
If someone doesn't do their job and leaves it for others my manager takes care of it.
My manager makes sure people don't offend each other. Makes us feel like a team.
Had a coworker that was sick and the manager made sure she was ok.
Cons
I'd love to make more money. A couple people left recently for same position for 2 dollars more.
Not enough holidays or time off. Managers could do a better job trying to work with you if you need a little time off.
Advice to Senior Management
Open your wallet a little more. I like it here but need to pay my bills.
Pros
Provides an easy way to gain experience in the biology profession. There are some very nice employees to work with as well.
Cons
Not enough opportunities for growth. There is really no career path to be taken to advanced to a higher stage of employment.
Advice to Senior Management
They are doing an alright job, though they sometimes will give you a guilt trip when you place a request for a vacation day.
Pros
One of the best managers I ever had was here (Trained to manage, motivated staff, created an environment in which people enjoyed being there, held everyone accountable, acknowledged issues and worked towards a resolution with everyone's input)
Cons
*My awesome boss was run out by Senior Management
*Workload and stress level was disproportionate to the pay received
*Extremely high turnover (people would go to lunch and not return)
*Questionable ethics of Senior Management
*Horrible communication between the Senior Management (President & Vice Presidents) and the remainder of the staff
Advice to Senior Management
*Treat your employees as though you value their work and contribution and they will work harder, work more efficiently, and won't leave for lunch and not return.
*There are many ways to accomplish a task, so don't discount someone else's ideas for achieving a common goal.
Pros
They are close in distance to the customers they service
Cons
Their billing department is very bad and so is their service
Advice to Senior Management
Time to get your act together...otherwise just shut your doors
Pros
Two weeks paid vacation immediately, good job to obtain some experience, work with some nice people, full benefits.
Cons
Compensation is very low, most postions are as a contractor, management does not have a good relation with contractors, you do have full benefits but they are very basic, work is very repetitive, you obtain some experience but very minimal.
Advice to Senior Management
Get in touch with your employees, start paying your employees the going rate.
Pros
A way to get your foot in the door and make connections within Procter & Gamble.
Cons
My manager quit and I had no idea. Just one day they told me that this person was gone and they didn't know what the next step was going to be.
Advice to Senior Management
Better systems to connect satellite locations to ATL management, so employees don't feel they are left alone.
Pros
better hourly wage than some other temporpary companies
They give 80 hours of vacation on hire
Cons
very little room to advance
bottom line is you are a contractor(temp) so pay is maybe 2/3 of what it could be
no insurance to speak of
Advice to Senior Management
be more visible
be more interactive
need to find way to retain good employees
find ways for employees to advance
Pros
There are a handful of employee's That care for the company and I enjoyed working with. Although I'm not sure why they cared so much when the company it self does not care for their employees.
Cons
There are way to many to mention. Just take my advice you can find a better job anywhere. Everyone is worked to death there and i truly think they think they could run with less. I'd like to know who wrote that one good review I'm going to bet the HR department.
Advice to Senior Management
Run
Pros
Excellent opportunity for new comers to the chemical industry. Chemists will develop good laboratory technique and gain valuable hands on experience. Good starter job as job requires very little in terms of problem solving, critical thinking, or pressure. Chemists will be expected to work independently and responsibly as there is little interaction with management. If you are a diligent, responsible, and analytically minded, you will prosper. The people that you work with are the true benefit of working with this company. Good, honest, hard working, ethical employees are found throughout.
Cons
Sadly, the salary and benefits are lacking. In that you are only expected to work 40hrs and the expectations are minimal, the job is low stress and therefore the pay is only moderate at best. This is a no frills job, but there is also no drama. There are many non-traditional benefits that come with job, but pay is not amount them.
Pros
Great position for recent college graduates looking for quality industry experience in their respective fields. Very flexible hours depending on site placement.
Cons
Doesn't seem to have many career advancement opportunities. Lacks communication efficiency between upper management and employees. Most positions are contract positions at larger corporations so effective team rapport building is limited.
Advice to Senior Management
Create better incentives for employees whose project demands are extremely high and at times, overwhelming. Communicate better with employees and associates.
