Good bosses. Decent culture with a good amount of perks and additional benefits. Good work lifestyle and nice work environment overall.

Limited career advancement opportunity because the firm wasn't growing. Not great mentorship and pay was slightly below competitors. Somewhat less than stimulating place to work.

You should clarify your strategic direction and try to better communicate that to the employees. High quality people will stay and be more excited.

Do not hire and reward "yes men" in your next position and don't "shoot the messenger" who tells you something you do not want to hear.
