    Pros

    Flexible scheduling, perfect for students or as a second job. Fun and easy going environment. Management is super nice and understanding.

    Cons

    Sometimes work can be slow, mostly during summer not enough events.

    Pros

    full time with benefits, paid on time, not outside in the sweltering heat, its a job, not a career choice

    Cons

    when you know that no matter how hard you work, you wont get promoted or a raise, and they literally treat you like just another body...

    Advice to Management

    dont tell your employees " you are just a body, you don't matter", or that there will never be increases... its bad for morale

    I have been working at Advantage Sales and Marketing full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Great exposure to industry at several levels. Supervisor does not micromanage, and is available to assist. Great benefits and time off.

    Cons

    Upper management is not concerned with turnover. Turnover is lead by below market salaries. You can double your salary if you leave for a year and come back after working for a manufacture. Management will claim they are in a raise freeze every year.

    Advice to Management

    Invest in employees.

    Pros

    At the stores, nice people to work with who do their best to help and train you. Great company to work for if you're desperate for work. Part-time work structure allows you to do other side jobs, or self employment. The work is actually very simple.

    Cons

    Extremely disorganized, but you get used to it after a while. Many, many rules that are often conflicting. Some projects are ill-conceived, but you still have to make them work somehow. Pay is minimal-- most people will not be able to live on this job alone.

    Advice to Management

    Make sure employees are paid on time. Nobody does this for love.

    Pros

    Flexible hours, two monitors, fairly large cubical area.

    Cons

    Poor management, no culture in the office. Management plays "favorites" these employees get away with murder in the office. low pay, quarterly bonus vs. monthly commission. Bathrooms are always disgusting, reminded me of a high school girls bathroom. avoid at all cost.

    Never boring. Get to service multiple clients with different needs. Continuous learning opportunities. Fun, young staff. Growth opportunities.

    Too much work always. Inexperienced staff.

    Pros

    Base Salary plus bonus. Great secure company. I really enjoyed my job and my supervisor was always a call away. The company is always updating to make things easier on the reps.

    Cons

    Too much wear and tear on automobile. Even though we were paid for our mileage, I don't think it was enough. To much merchandise sent to personal residence.

    I made some good friends.

    Cons

    Cold calling, call center type environment. You are just a number, and they really don't care about their Recruiters. I was there a year and it was the highest turnover I've ever seen in a company. Also, they hire ANYONE, so don't be too flattered if they hire you. There is no opportunity to advance in the company either. Just honest and objective opinions!

    Advice to Management

    Organization is a huge negative in the company. Also, pay more attention to the candidates that the Recruiter's hire. I never even wanted to hire these people because I felt bad they would be working for such an unorganized company!
