    If you need a job

Retail Sales Merchandiser (Current Employee) San Francisco, CA

ProsAbility to manage your schedule. I work for a startup and I don't accept assignments when I am busy.

ConsLow pay. I did this job for seven up in college and made $6/hr. This job job should pay at least $20/hr. Substandard IT systems. Cut admin wage to 10 from 11 because of San Jose minimum wage increase for drvie time from 8 to 10 an hour.

Advice to Senior ManagementIncrease hourly salaries to 15/hr. I am applying at competitors that pay that much

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

Way too much work to accomplish in way too short a time.

Retail Sales Merchandiser (Former Employee) San Francisco, CA

ProsWorking independently, meeting people, representing quality brands.

ConsLow salary, too much work to do in too short a time. Continual pressure to create promotions in groceries. Ridiculous pressure. Other Merchandisers submit false info to stay abreast. It's all about meeting quotas, real or false.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrying working a RSM job for a day or two. Both client and ASM management far too hands off with unrealistic expectations.
