Pros
The people at Advantech are amazing (besides upper management). Everyone is sweet and a pleasure to be around. The company is has around 60+ employees.
Cons
The company culture is far off from an American one. The company is a Taiwanese company but if you're going to have a company in the States, learn the culture.

Limited raise and career path
Short staffed
Advice to Senior Management
Care about your people.
Pros
Advantech is a market leader in their field of Embedded Computing Solutions. With a fairly good R&D team. All Sales people have the Autonomy to run their territories as long as things are going well.
Cons
No field support or coaching from upper management. I saw my DM a total of 4 times in my first year (includes 2 times at full company meeting). Sales people have to take the blame internally and be responsible for mistakes make by application engineers and factory engineers
Advice to Senior Management
Provide more tools for Sales people to be successful allow sales management to travel more with Field Sales Engineers. VP of Sales should be more open to concerns from the field
Pros

Cons
you have to fight alone
