    Pros

Chipotle was close by so I could go get lunch

    Cons

Long hours, a lot of time if it was slow they would make you take double unpaid lunch breaks but you couldn't just go home for the day so it literally was a waste of time, and they make you buy your headset which they deduct from your first paycheck. I constantly was either being hit on by creepy old men over the phone, or yelled at by people who called for one thing and I were mad because I was trying to sell them something else. Even as a top sales person I was terminated because I missed work for almost 2 weeks ...I brought in the papers from the hospital and explained my situation and I was still terminated.

    Advice to Management

Have some compassion. When someone is sick they don't plan it, and can't control it, if someone brings you proof that that's where they were and they weren't just blowing off work to go see a movie or something then have a heart. Also pay better , stop taking away bonuses for stupid reasons, and stop making promises that you don't intend to keep.

    Pros

Trying to think of some. Oh yeah..the patients.

    Cons

Illegal operations. All counselors at our site have zero time for a ten minute break but are required to sign a document that indicates they were not DENIED a ten minute break. Calif law requires 10 minute breaks after 3 and a half hours of work. Counselors need to be verbally offered their brakes in order for Aegis to be in compliance with California Law. No one says anything for fear of upper management retribution. Also upper management recently changed policy making it nearly impossible for Counselors to earn their well deserved bonus.

    Advice to Management

Treat counselors with respect and you will have less overturn of counselors.Give them appropriate raises and for God's sake follow California State Law regarding 10 minute rest brakes for non salaried employees or you will have huge fines for breaking the law.
