Pros
To travel world wide and see different countries and places as an Aeroflot flight attendant. What other job would give me opportunity to spend New Year in Havanna and Easter in Ulaan Bator and do some shopping in Tokyo or maybe dinner in Oslo during overnight stop? Excellent collegues and exciting job. Job can be difficult and customers even more demanding, but it is a rewarding job, when you exceed customers expectations about Aeroflot. People are really proud to work for Aeroflot.
Also the longest holiday you can get in the industry from the begining.... 72 days paid holiday for flight and cabin crew members, meaning 1 month during the summer and 1 month during the winter.
Good staff tickets on many airlines.
Suits me, as no family and I love to be away from home.
Cons
Long distanse to Sheremetyevo Airport in Moscow, it can take 2 hours to get to work. Rosters are published only one week in advance and only for one week, so you never know if you are working next monday or not...
Advice to Senior Management
Management should listem more the opinions and suggestions given by the staff members. Also they should recognize that they have the best employees in the industry. Valery Okulov does a great job as leading Aeroflot, it is due to his hard work, Aeroflot brad is renewed and again respected.
