Figure out once and for all what you going to do with this company and do it, instead of constantly trying to invent the wheel. Focus on your core competences, instead of being everything for everybody.

Pros

A growing industry in which an individual can benefit from exposure to one-on-one communications and multiple stakeholders. The compensation vs. other companies in Montreal are rather good.

Cons

The appearance of favouratism, lack of transperancy, a lot of smoke and mirrors, working in Montreal where opportunities are not great (Aeroplan takes advantage by lower pay)...Back stabbing is accepted and individuals have been promoted for being political. Very little work life balance...executive will work you on the weekends and evenings regularly.

Advice to Senior Management

Listen to staff and act...do diligence to understand real concerns of employees and not your own. Seems like you care more about making your wallet fat than helping others.
