Current Employee – been working at Aesculap USA
Pros – A environment where you can really learn a alot in a short amount of time. You have a large amount of responsibility, but not anything you can't handle.
Cons – It is a smaller company, so not that much room for advancement it seems. Engineers are perhaps paid lower the competitors.

Pros – Aesculap is an organization strongly committed to its employees, the quality of it's products and the integrity with which it operates. The current CEO Chuck DiNardo can be trusted and has a vision for the organization that he wants Aesculap to become and has committed the organization to make change happen.
Cons – Accountability is lacking at all levels of the organization, while it is a great focus, change of that scale rarely happens quickly and especially slow at Aesculap. Driven employees are often dispirited by non-performers or nah-sayers.
Advice to Senior Management – Let the organization get out of it's own way and move with full speed towards the goal. Historic ways of doing business have to be gotten rid of and there should be zero-tolerance for those who don't want to perform.

Current Employee – been working at Aesculap USA
Pros – Decent benefits. Mostly good people to work with. Family owned company in Germany, which means a lot of people at the central office with a lot of experience and knowledge.
Cons – Grew too big, too fast, resulting in some people being promoted above their ability and unable to think as "large" as the company is. Extremely sales dominated, if your not used to a culture where sales has the final say, this place is not for you. Company is currently a tacital company, not a strategic one.
Advice to Senior Management – Smart growth is better than big growth, and growth without profits is no growth at all. The decisions you make now are for the future.

Current Employee – been working at Aesculap USA full-time for more than 8 years
Pros – Good , quality products, good entry into healthcare industry
Cons – Management stuck in the past, difficult to make progress. Lower paid people pick up the slack from higher-paid people who either don't know their jobs or are lazy. Near impossible to get rid of some incompetent employees due to their relationships with upper management.

Current Employee – been working at Aesculap USA
Pros – Some divisions of the company are strong- others are treated as inferior.
Cons – Poor product development channel and growth through acquisitions is comical- you are basically charged with selling the same products year after year and this makes it difficult to earn money.
Advice to Senior Management – Negotiate better contracts with non-owned companies, close communication barrier between US and Germany
