Advice to Senior Management
Management training classes are needed for some supervisors.
Pros
I had one of the best managers ever. They were always helpful and never made you feel you were wasting their time despite their crazy busy day.
Cons
As a call center rep, I got to listen to how claims were never paid, or not paid in a timely manner. When trying to reach an adjuster for transfers or questions, they were never available. The adjusters used the call center reps as the buffer to the angry customer.
Advice to Senior Management
I commend you for knowing your jobs well, but given the environment your employees work in they need more morale boosters.
Pros
Good management (from direct supervisor). Has decent benefits, 40-hour work week. You get to meet a lot of interesting people.
Cons
Too many layers of management telling you to do different things, not much opportunity for advancement, pay is only ok,computer problems.
Advice to Senior Management
Have up-to-date computer systems, and it seems we don't have a healthy balance between the best choice for the customer and the best for the company.
Pros
Its steady work and my co workers are very helpful and nice. My direct supervisor is nice to work with as well.
Cons
No communication with upper management to employees until the last second.
Upper management is very disrespectful to employees when giving directions or in everyday activities.
Management discuss private details about co workers to other manager and staff, no confidentiality.
Military stark environment, if you laugh with a co-worker for a second upper management will come to your desk and ask it you have anything to do.
Advice to Senior Management
Respect your employees, don't treat them like kids. Respect should be given to each employee regardless of position. Confidentiality between manament and employees should be respected and not gossiped around the office. Its so bad that even HR will tell confidential things

Advice to Senior Management
Stop promoting on employees ability to have "close relationship" with senior management.
Pros
Decent salary and benefits offered
Cons

Incompetence in senior management
Advice to Senior Management
Listen to the people who do the work. Employees can have important contributions and offer honest assessments. Also, pay attention when upper management leaves and discover why they left. High turnover among upper management is a clue that something is systemically wrong with your company.
